Emberlee breaks her arm.

My Princess and her bright pink cast.
Well on August 10th Emberlee fell from the monkey bars at school. She was in an Ace Bandage since then until today. We went to the Orthopedic Surgeons office and we got a bright pink cast for Emberlees left arm. Which just so happens to be her writing arm. It looks so big on my little peanut. She was a trooper while getting her cast, what a big girl.

The Princesses first day of school.

Well while I am used to school starting on the first Wednesday after Labor Day, here in Az today was the first day of school for two princesses. They are both going into Kindergarten and will be in the same class (as there is only 1 Kindergarten class) at the Charter school that I choose. The school came
very highly recomended. It is a Christian based Charter school that I think the girls will do better in, rather than public schools. The public schools here are down towards the bottom of the list. So unimpressive. Emberlee is entering on time, and Jesse tested into Kindergarten from the Preschool level. My girls are so smart!!!!! It feels really wierd not having them home, though now I have to get a job. Doing what I really don't care so long as it helps me pay the bills.

Create a Back-to-School Snack Bar

It’s almost time for back-to-school, and with that comes hungry kids home for afternoon snacks! A great way to keep them focused on homework and to satisfy their hunger is to feed them at their desks. Create a convenient snack bar right by their favorite homework spot. You can use empty Baking Line jars to create a spread like this!

With healthy snacks at their fingertips, you won’t have to worry about them venturing off to look for something to eat or find them digging through the pantry attempting to snag your secret stash of cookies―those are your sweet indulgence!

Frangrances for small spaces.

Inspire

Decorate the Smallest Spaces for a Big Feel

InspireWhen you’re trying to decorate small rooms for your home, the key is functional candle accessories.
Simplify the room by adding small scented candles and functional candle accessories that not only look good, but serve a purpose. These items really go a long way in decorating a small space. Try these tips to make the most of your small space.
1. Define the Room’s Style/Theme/Purpose – By figuring out the type of space you want first, it will be easier to choose only those items that fit into the room’s style and space.
2. Simplify by Reducing Clutter – It’s already a small space, so adding more “stuff” or already having too much clutter can really ruin your room’s look and feel. Remove any items that don’t match your defined look for the room.
3. Use Mostly Functional Accessories – Accessories that not only look good, but serve a purpose, really go a long way in decorating a small space. Adding something like a Pod Warmer lends itself for a décor piece, but also brings a fresh fragrance to your smaller space.

Swimming Lessons 2011

The girls took swimming lessons this summer. It was a blast, watching them learn how to make it to the edge and learn the basics of swimming. This is Emberlee standing in a shallow pool enjoying a day they called "Bubble Day" they had a bubble pit, and gave out little bottles of bubbles.

Jesse gets a hair cut!

Jesse was growing out her hair. She would never let me brush it so it would always get knotted in the back. So off it came, she didn't like it a first - but now she runs around Thanking me for cutting her hair. It looks great, frames her face excellently and it is easier to care for, a win/win situation.
